As Horoz Lojistik, we consider sustainability an integral part of our corporate governance approach and prioritize managing the environmental, social, and governance impacts of our activities through a systematic approach. In this context, we continuously improve our sustainability journey through the practices and projects we implement.
OUR SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
At Horoz Logistics, we place sustainability at the heart of our corporate strategy. We extend our long-term value creation approach beyond financial performance, evaluating our environmental and social responsibilities within the same framework.With the commitment of our Board of Directors, sustainability is becoming a fundamental part of all our strategic decisions. With this understanding, we are making steady progress toward reducing our environmental impact, strengthening our social contributions, and meeting the expectations of our stakeholders.
As Horoz Lojistik, we manage our sustainability strategy in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We align all our environmental, social, and governance activities with these global goals and aim to increase societal benefit by creating value together with our stakeholders.
The steps we took in 2024 have made our contribution more visible, particularly in the areas of climate action, inclusivity, a sustainable supply chain, and innovation.
Environmental Sustainability
- We continuously improve our environmental management system (ISO 14001) and aim to ensure the efficient use of resources by integrating it with our energy management processes (ISO 50001).
- Thanks to our ISO 14064-1:2018 Greenhouse Gas Emission calculations and verification processes, we regularly calculate and monitor our carbon emissions and develop projects to reduce our carbon footprint.
- We aim to commission our Solar Power Plant (SPP) investment, which we have implemented to increase the use of renewable energy, in 2026.
- In line with our goal of reducing our carbon footprint, we are completing the transition to electric vehicles in our urban distribution operations and expanding low-emission transportation.
- In line with our zero-waste goal, we conduct our waste management processes with a systematic approach.
